Commercial Development
Commercial Property Development forms a substantial proportion of our Groups overall development activity.
We are continuing to make material progress in identifying sites and developing new four star hotels. The second of these, the Nottingham Belfry, was completed last December, with the third, the Hertfordshire Belfry now in the final planning stages. A fourth, at Swindon, is programmed for commencement in 2007.
Our other commercial developments include offices, such as Bell Business Park in Aylesbury, and a number of smaller retail schemes which generally form part of mixed use development. We have a number of important commercial developments in the pipeline including a mixed industrial / office park scheme.We continue to pursue our interests in the retail sector.
